Our Southwest Camps division promotes and manages summer cheer camps and  dance camp/clinics for high school, junior high, and elementary age cheerleaders and dance teams. We currently have camps in the following locations:
 

Hardin-Simmons University  Abilene, Texas;

Univ. of the Incarnate Word  San Antonio, Texas;

United South High School Laredo, Texas;

John and Shamarion Barber Middle School, Dickinson, Texas, (NASA area)


Our cheerleader camps are affiliated with the National Cheerleaders Association. We have promoted and managed summer camps since 1960.

UIW DORMS - ALL MALES WILL BE HOUSED TOGETHER SEPARATE FROM THE FEMALES. EACH GROUP WITH A MALE COACH/DIRECTOR MUST HAVE A FEMALE CHAPERONE TO STAY IN THE DORMS WITH THE GROUP.  Check out time starts at 7am on the last day of camp.  You must have all your belongings out of the room and keys turned in BEFORE final rally starts at 8:30.  Keys must be turned in at the Marion Ballroom where registration was held.

THERE CAN BE NO DECORATING IN THE DORMS!!  EACH TEAM CAN DECORATE IN THE GYM ONLY AND THEY MUST BE REMOVED AT THE END OF CAMP.

 

BUSES - UIW Campus - Since there isn’t enough room for buses at the registration building please park the bus at the designated area on the UIW Map.  The coach (who is the only one who can register the group) should walk over to Marian Hall to register their group.

Registration and Payment:
Your registration is tentative until your deposit is received. A deposit of $50 per person is required 45 days prior to the first day of camp. Full payment (deposit and balance) may be sent together if desired.

PaymentS:
Balance is due on June 1st for June camps and July 1st for July camps.

No personal, gym, booster club or business checks will be accepted at registration or during the 3 weeks prior to camp start date.

Payments mailed in must be in the form of an official school check, cashiers check, credit card or money order.  (Cash will be accepted at registration.)

Payment for School Purchase Orders MUST be paid in full prior to camp start date.

If you have changes in the number of participants or coaches that will be attending camp, please notify Southwest Camps immediately so we may update your account accordingly.
