SOUTHWEST EMBLEM COMPANY
is a division of Southwest Enterprises of Cisco, Texas, USA. A second division of the
organization is Southwest Camps. We have been in business in Cisco for some 40 years,
beginning as a part-time and summer enterprise when Mr. Eris Ritchie, company owner and
president, was serving as band director for the Cisco Public Schools and later Cisco
Junior College. Mr. Ritchie also fulfilled public relations and advertising functions at
Cisco Junior College. The business operations became full time and full fledged in 1977,
when Mr. Ritchie resigned his position at Cisco Junior College to devote full time to
Southwest Enterprises.
We are very pleased that the
Southwest Emblem division of the company has over the past twenty years become the
USAs number one supplier of custom embroidered patches for school music groups,
festivals, and parades. We are also a major source for custom-made lapel pins, award
medals, chenille letters and emblems, ribbons, decals, and many other
emblematic customized products.
Our Southwest Camps division
promotes and manages summer camp/clinics for high school, junior high, and elementary age
cheerleaders and dance teams. We currently have camps in the following locations:
Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas; the University of the Incarnate Word in San
Antonio, Texas; United South High School in Laredo, Texas; and junior camp (junior high
and younger) at Creekside Intermediate School in League City. Our cheerleader camps are affiliated with the
National Cheerleaders Association. We have promoted and managed summer camps since 1960.
