IMPORTANT
INFORMATION |
(1) |
TWILL material background is most
economical and is completely washable. Patches with 100% embroidered surface are also
washable. Felt is recommended only for blazers or other dry cleanable garments. |
(2) |
SIZE is based on longest height or
width measurement. For extra long designs, 48 or more patches, you may take the average
dimension. Example: 2" x 5" patch can be figured as 3 1/2" (2+5=7, 7/2=3
1/2"). |

ADD 15% to price if: Glitter
thread ordered or if you have more than 7 colors of thread in design. |
(4) |
ADD 20% to price if: Felt material
ordered or if more than 65% of the patch is to be embroidered. |
(5) |
ADD 30% to the price if the patch
is 100% embroidery. |
(6) |
SUBMIT a
drawing, rough sketch, or actual sample of the patch being ordered
or email artwork in jpeg or .pdf format to swinfo@southwestemblem.com |
(7) |
LETTERING should be no smaller
than 1/4" high. |
(8) |
INCLUDE any additional helpful
detail information. |
(9) |
Normal delivery takes 6-8 weeks.
An absolute delivery date cannot be guaranteed. Custom patches are usually made overseas
rather than in our factory; therefore we can give you better prices on smaller orders by
providing you with imported patches. |

When ordering custom embroidered patches, it is quite important that you
carefully read all the ordering instructions above for determining specifics and pricing.
CHECK LIST FOR CUSTOM PATCH ORDER
____1. SEND SKETCH OR ACTUAL SAMPLE with your order, including all necessary details. Use
this check list and the information above to be sure that no essential information is
omitted.
____2. Indicate background material--twill, felt, or 100% embroidery, and color of
material.
____3. Are exact dimensions and shape shown?
____4. Clearly indicate all colors, including background.
____5. Is the border color indicated?
____6. Is the lettering no smaller than 1/4" high?
____7. Include any other information that could be helpful, including art, mascots, etc.
NOTE: Minor copy changes can sometimes be made in lettering for little or no additional
cost. |
